Paperwork for duty-free entry
To claim the ECTA preferential rate, shipments generally need proof that the goods originate in India, typically a certificate or declaration of origin under the agreement. Ask your supplier to provide the right documents, and confirm requirements with your customs broker.
GST and costs
GST still applies on imports. Budget for insured courier costs and any brokerage fees.
