How it’s made
From a tiny seed to a brilliant diamond
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. Follow the seven steps from the reactor to your ring.

Growth begins with a thin slice of real diamond: the seed that new carbon atoms will build on.

Inside a reactor, carbon-rich gas is energised into a glowing plasma (CVD), or carbon is pressed under extreme heat and pressure (HPHT). Carbon atoms bond to the seed, layer by layer, over several weeks.

The grown crystal is removed and cleaned. It is now a rough diamond: real diamond, waiting for its fire to be revealed.

3D scanners map each rough so our planners can find the largest, most beautiful polished diamond inside it. Precision lasers then saw and shape the stone.

Skilled craftsmen in Surat cut and polish every facet on a spinning wheel, unlocking brilliance, fire and sparkle.

Each stone is checked for cut, color, clarity and carat, and important diamonds are independently graded and certified.

Finally, the diamond is set into a ring, pendant or earrings, ready to celebrate a moment for a lifetime.
