To get an accurate wholesale quote for lab-grown diamonds, send the supplier seven things in one message: shape, size (sieve, mm or carat), color range, clarity range, quantity, certification and destination country. Add your deadline and whether you need matching. A complete brief gets a firm price in one reply instead of three rounds of questions.

Why does a vague inquiry get a vague price?

"Price for 2 ct of lab-grown melee?" can mean a dozen different parcels. Color, clarity, size and cut quality all move the per-carat price. So a supplier either guesses high to be safe, or replies with questions.

A clear spec sheet also protects you later. If a stone does not match your written order, the specification is your proof.

What should a lab-grown diamond quote request include?

Use this checklist for every inquiry, whether for melee or a single center stone.

1. Shape. Round, oval, pear, emerald, marquise, princess, cushion or another cut.
2. Size. Sieve size or millimetres for melee, carat weight or a carat range for larger stones. For fancy shapes, give length and width if your setting is fixed.
3. Color range. For example EF, or GH. A range gives the supplier more stones to choose from.
4. Clarity range. For example VVS/VS or VS/SI.
5. Quantity. Total carats for melee parcels, number of pieces for larger stones.
6. Certification. IGI, GIA or GCAL report, or non-certified. Say if you need a report for every stone or only for center stones.
7. Destination. Your country and city, so shipping and insurance can be quoted.

Then add three details that save time:

  • Matching: pairs for earrings, or a parcel matched for color and size across a tennis bracelet.
  • Deadline: the date the stones must be in your workshop.
  • Use: the setting or design, so the supplier can flag a size or shape that will not work.

That is enough for us to check availability and send a written price.

How are lab-grown diamond quality grades written on a price list?

Many manufacturers group stones into quality bands rather than pricing every grade separately. On our price list, dated 26 September 2026:

| Quality | Color | Clarity |
|---|---|---|
| A | EF | VVS/VS |
| B | GH | VS/SI |

The gap is clear on ovals. Quality A from 0.10 to 0.49 ct is listed at ₹10,000 per carat. Quality B in the same band is ₹9,000 per carat. For 0.50 to 0.99 ct ovals, the figures are ₹9,000 and ₹8,000.

These list prices are indicative. Diamond prices change, so the binding price is the one in your written quotation or proforma invoice, for the period it states.

What happens after you send the request?

1. We confirm availability. We check stones in hand, or plan cutting if the parcel must be made to your specification.
2. You receive a written quotation. It states price, payment terms, any advance and the expected dispatch date.
3. You confirm in writing. Email or WhatsApp counts. Production or selection starts once the agreed advance arrives.
4. We ship and send tracking. International shipping and insurance are quoted separately before you order.

Every stone is disclosed as laboratory-grown on the quotation, invoice and certificate, with the growth method (CVD) and any post-growth treatment, in line with Indian Standard IS 19469:2025.

What should you check before you approve a quote?

  • The quote names the exact grades, not just "good quality".
  • The certificate lab matches what you asked for.
  • Shipping, insurance and the dispatch date are written down.
  • You know who pays import duty and brokerage. With us, the buyer pays destination duties unless the quotation says otherwise. Check current rules with your customs broker.
  • You understand the cancellation terms. Stones cut, matched or certified for your order cannot be returned for a change of mind. Stones that do not match the order or report are repaired, replaced or refunded if you tell us within 7 days of delivery.

Common questions

Can I ask for a color or clarity range instead of one grade?

Yes. A range such as EF VVS/VS widens the choice of stones, which helps most when you need matched pairs or parcels.

Do I need a certificate for melee?

Usually not. Melee is normally sold by parcel and graded in bands. Independent reports from IGI, GIA or GCAL are most useful for center stones and high-value pieces.

Can you cut a shape or size that is not on the price list?

Yes. We cut fancy shapes to order. Send the measurements and we will tell you what is possible.
