The India International Jewelry Show (IIJS) Premiere 2024, organised by the Gem & Jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), took place in Mumbai from 8 to 13 August 2024. It was the 40th edition of the show, held across two major venues, and laboratory-grown diamonds were firmly part of the story.
A mainstream category
Laboratory-grown diamonds and lab-grown jewelry were displayed alongside natural diamonds, gold, platinum and colored gemstones. For buyers from across India and abroad, this is now simply one of the categories you come to IIJS to see, just as it should be.
What visitors saw
- Loose laboratory-grown diamonds in every shape and size, from melee to large solitaires
- Finished lab-grown jewelry, including bridal sets, tennis bracelets and everyday fine jewelry
- Colored laboratory-grown diamonds, such as pinks, blues and yellows
- Manufacturers from Surat and Mumbai showcasing their cutting and design capabilities
