How these rates are calculated
Indian rates are the IBJA benchmark rates: 24K is IBJA’s 999 rate, 22K its 916 rate and 18K its 750 rate, published on working days. For other countries we convert the international gold spot price (US dollars per troy ounce) into the local currency per gram with the day’s exchange rate; 22K is 91.6%, 18K 75% and 14K 58.5% of the 24K rate.
